Instructions to make to make Curd rice
- Half cup of rice boiled nicely and mashed slightly
(do not use Basmati Rice/ Delhi Rice for it would not be suitable for South Indian Yoghurt or Curd Rice, instead use Sona Masuri or any such Rice) - Now add 1 cup of thick Yogurt/ Curd and mix it with the mashed up Rice nicely. If needed you can add some water.
- Add Salt to taste.Heat a small pan with oil, once hot, add the Mustard seeds and let them Crackle.
- Then add all the other ingredients for the tempering, saute for a second and pour the tempering on the prepared Yogurt / Curd Rice, and garnish it with coriander leaves and pomegranate.

- Enjoy this deliciously cool dish to beat the hot summer. Goes well in summer or winter. Serve curd Rice with some nice tangy pickle.
