- 7 cups water

- 2 bay leaf
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

- For biriyani gravy:
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 tbsp ghee
- 2 inch cinnamon sticks
- 1 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp Shahi zeera
- 4 green cardamom
- 2 green chillies
- 2 onions finely chopped
- 1 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup curd
- 1/4 cup chopped carrots
- 1/4 cup green peas
- 1/4 cup french beans,
- 1/4 cup cauliflower
- 10 cubes paneer
- 1/4 cup potato
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
- 3 tsp biriyani powder
- 1 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 cup fried onions
- 1/4 cup mixture of saffron and milk
- as per required Wheat dough (to seal)
- 1 tsp garam masala powder
- 1 tsp nutmeg powder

- First boil 7 cups of water, add the above-mentioned ingredients for rice. Then add rice. Stir well. Cook rice about 70%.

Keep it aside for 20 mins.
- Now in a thick bottom non-stick vessel heat 2tbsp oil. Add bay leaf, little amount of Shahi zeera, chopped onion. Saute for 1 min. and the marinade vegetables. Cook for 15-20 mins.
- Take out some biriyani gravy. Now spread some biriyani gravy in the vessel then spread one layer of rice, again spread some chopped mint leaves and coriander leaves, brown onions. Again spread some biriyani gravy then spread another layer of rice then spread some chopped mint leaves, coriander leaves and brown onions.At the top spread the mixture of saffron and milk that prepared earlier. Add few drops of ghee.

- Now simmer for 15-20 mins.
