- 1cup onion grated
- 1 cup Tomato grated
- 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 Green chillies
- 1 tbsp Red chillies powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric
- As needed Oil
- to taste Salt
- For Kulche :
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup Curd
- 2 tbsp Baking powder
- 1 tbsp Baking soda
- as required Water
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- as per taste Salt
- as required Oil or ghee
- As per requirement Extra flour for dusting
- 1 tsp Kalongi
- 1 tsp Coriander
Steps to make to make Amritsari chole kulche
- Soak chole in enough water for whole night or 4-5hours
- Now pressure cook the choke add chole, amd make a potli of tea, cinnamon sticks, black pepper and cloves. Give 4 - 5 whistle.
- Add oil to kdai and now put cumin and asfotida now add ginger garlic paste then green chillies and then add grated onion and cook to the brown color.
- Now add tomatoes and cook till oil separate then add all the spices to greavy and now add chole and boil for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Chole is ready to serve
- Kylchas: mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Make a well in the centre add curd oil and water
- Make a smooth dough and keep aside for 2 hours.
- Make small ball of dough. Sprinkle some kalongi amd coriander on the ball
- With thd rolling pin flatten the dough in small kulcha.
- Now heat the tawa and put some water on one side of kulcha and place it on tawa.
- Now flip it from other side.
- Make it crispy from both side
- Now kulchas are ready to serve.
- Serve with hot chole and some onion and pickle and some raita.
