- Remove the potatoes and add more oil in the same pan and fry the onions until brown and remove

- Cook your rice either plain or you can add some tumeric powder when done to give it a yellow appearance
- After chicken has marinated heat oil in a pan add tomatoes and tomatoes paste and all spices mixing to avoid drying
- Add boiled chicken to the spices, yoghurt,potatoes and the fried onions squeeze some lemon if you have used flavoured yoghurt...if not you can leave it

- Cook for 10 to 13 minutes on low to medium heat

- Check on your rice,when ready remove it

- Serve the rice on a plate with the biryani on top
